BASIC CERTIFICATE IN LAND MANAGEMENT, VALUATION AND REGISTRATION (LMVR) – NTA Level 4

Description

The Basic Certificate in Land Management, Valuation and Registration (LMVR) program is designed for individuals working as technical assistants in both field and office settings under the guidance of qualified land management and valuation professionals. The program equips students with foundational skills necessary for careers in land administration, property valuation, and land registration services.

Students engage in practical work, which is considered an essential component of the program, enabling them to develop hands‑on knowledge and skills in land management, valuation, and registration. The philosophy of fieldwork is to support the learning process and provide knowledge through direct observation and fact‑finding, rather than routine classroom learning. Fieldwork practicals illustrate principles, experimental techniques, and real‑world observations.

The program consists of 12 modules delivered across two semesters. Each academic year comprises two semesters, with 15 weeks dedicated to classroom activities and on‑campus practicals, followed by 2 weeks for written examinations. In total, the program spans 34 weeks of full‑time study.
